Eggs and Smiles

Nate was our best smiler for these pictures. We had lots of fun coloring eggs although we did the most simple eggs possible. It was quite late when we got the eggs done, but at least we got it done in time for the Easter Bunny to hide them. Well, the Easter Bunny realized we were late getting our eggs done, so he decided to come after church to hide the eggs.
What a nice Easter Bunny!
Josh and Jared showing us the before of their eggs. We used dyes and stickers...so simple, but the boys loved it!
Nate saying cheese. I'm glad he has gotten the hang of pictures. What a cutie!

Searching for the good stuff. We have such great boys! Josh likes the plastic eggs with the candy inside. Jared loves ones he decorated and Nate loves anything he could find!

This was a great picture of all three boys. Nate is half naked, Josh has his tennis shoes on and Jared put flip flops on over his church socks! Got to love it!

All About Nate!

I know that this is blurry, but this was the highlight of my day! It was Jan. 14 (my dad's birthday)and I had to be readmitted to the hospital and Nate gotten himself stuck in the heat register. Mike also got video of it, so we will have this on record for ever!! These pictures look like we have huge heat registers! I still can't fathom how Nate got himself so far down in it.
Nate learned a lot of naughty things while I was in the hospital. Granted, I was in there for 17 stinkin' days, but did he have to go and grow up on me so fast. One of things he learned was how to take off his diaper. Mike finally took packing tape and put it around him a couple of times. Here Nate is trying to get himself out of bondage!
Nate also learned how to turn off the lights, but couldn't reach to turn it back on, so he climbed up on one of the chairs, but couldn't get down. Looks like a good timeout place for Nate.

Here Comes Santa Claus

The boys loved seeing Santa Claus. He even came to my sister's house for
a quick visit on Christmas Eve. How lucky are we!!Joshua wasn't quite sure what to think. This was his best picture!
Jared loved every minute of talking with Santa Claus!
Obviously, Nate had a whole bunch of stuff to tell Santa.
I sure hope Santa brought him what he wanted.
We couldn't ask for cuter boys! Thank goodness I got them hair cuts
before I was put in the hospital!

Ah, that Christmas feeling...and Josh's party too!

My Nate is such a cutie. Jared is my hat boy and when he saw these in the
Christmas boxes, he got them right out and started handing them out.Every year I take a self portrait with my boys and the hats! Here is one with Nate.
And all my boys!
I think Josh is our dramatic candle blower outer. Last year's picture of him blowing out his candles, we could see his tonsils. At least he only looks like a monkey in this one..haha! Mike did a great job on the cake since I was under the weather!
Josh loves maps and books about space. This is a huge map he has on his wall now! Last year at his other school, there was a map on the ground of the United States. At recess, kids would line up by Josh and he would tell them which state to go stand on.
He had a great time with that.

Thanksgiving..bowling anyone?

Bowling is a family tradition of mine since I can remember. We had a good Thanksgiving. It was held at our house and we had Mike's sister and husband come to help celebrate with us!Here is Mike and Nate enjoying the view. Actually Mike has been chasing Nate around and around and around....joys of being a parent.
Joshua is making sure he doesn't step over that line! He does a pretty darn good job at getting that ball down the alley! We love Joshie!
Don't I look like a pro!?! To tell you the truth (and not to brag or anything), but I bowled the highest game out of everyone there that day! It must have been the shoes!

Jared loves to go bowling! You can tell he's trying to point the
bowling ball in the right direction.
Here is Aunt Marilyn...what style, what grace!
Skinny Cheryl strutting off here stuff. This is my sister with her hot blue ball!
Momma Moss showing that she's still got it! I don't think she
guttered more than 2 times..hahaha!
Uncle Denny has just as much style and grace as Aunt Marilyn and
he throws a mean bowling ball!
Here is me and 3 of my 4 sisters. They have a Turkey Trot every year. You can either do a 2 mile run/walk or a 10K. Heidi(she's the one on the right) and I had been training to do the 10K, but my stinking Ulcerative colitis decided to flare up and I didn't get to run. I still got the sweatshirt and Heidi put my timer on her shoe and she did a great job getting a wonderful time for me!

IKEA!!

Well we all LOVE Aunt Marilyn. Mike and I decided it was time to find something to buy at
IKEA to organize our house. We had Marilyn meet us there and we went out to eat afterwards. My favorite place "Red Robin."

Scary Jared! Leave it to Aunt M to get a great shot of Jared in all his glory!

Nate just tolerating...just kidding!

Finally, normal Jared appears. Thank goodness he is still cute!
Josh is very handsome and is trying to eat big people food! We are very proud of him!

Mike and I are glad that we go to get fun stuff to organize our house. It's made a huge difference.

A clean Halloween

Well, the boys had a blast trick or treating. Mike and I had fun making these costumes in the dark! On Monday night we had a power outage that lasted from 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. So by candle light and lamps we made these. Josh is the washer, Jared , the dryer and Nate the detergent! What better costumes for 3 boys who create a lot of laundry.Nate and his cute little bag! I don't think he understood what people were giving him, but he put up his little bag and said "Dan du" to everyone! Soo cute!

Another pic of the boys, Jared happy as a clam and Josh worried about the vacuum.
This is our friend Mike. He was playing with Nate and saying "Trick or Treat!" Nate gladly gave of his candy every single time. We sure love the innocence of our little Nate!
