Reunion Time

Here we are at Frenchman's Lake at our family reunion! This reunion is on my side of the family, but we thought it would be fun for Mike's sister Marilyn to come with us! Here Mike and Marilyn are making shaking quakin' ice cream in a baggie. It actually turned out! Yum Yum!

Pinata Time for the boys! Nate was soo cute trying to hit the pinata. He didn't even understand what comes out of it, but he sure is cute!

Jared is the MAN! He can hit a pinata like no one's business!

Josh gave it a good swing! He played Little League this summer and had a lot of fun!

Wienie Roast! Here is Mike and Jared in the middle with cousin Dallas by Jared and other uncles and cousins...the Eliasons! A family of 5 boys and 1 girl

Animals, Animals

When we were on our 3 week trip, we made a stop in Utah for a few days. I have a friend there who has lots of animals on her property. She has cats, dogs, pigs, cows, horses....I think there is more. Here are a few pictures. Josh really loves animals. He just loves them a little too hard.

Jared couldn't wait to ride the horse. He had fun riding around. We got Nate up there for scrapbooking purposes..that's all. It's called nervous mama! Actually, this horse had it's mate in the field in the background and it kept wanting to jump the fence to get back to it! Too cute, but a little scary for me!

Santa's Village

This is MIke's dad and mom! Mike's dad and Nate had just woke up. It was cuddle time for both of them!

This is still our summer trip that started on June 10. After going to Kansas we went to Colorado Springs and spent some time with Mike's parents. Like smart grandparents do, they sent us and our three boys to Santa's Village where we could all get our energy out. We were lucky to have Mike's niece Heather with us! This is Josh and Heather riding the cars....oh what fun!

Nate and me..self portrait!
Jared being a big boy riding all by himself!
Josh's face is hilarious on this one! He loved the roller coaster!

Coasters and Cousins

While in Glenwood Springs, we went to a fun park called Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. We actually got Josh to ride up the tram which is a huge milestone for Josh. He also LOVED LOVED LOVED riding the Canyon Flyer. It takes you down the mountain using your own weight...it does have brakes, thank goodness!

Here is Nate and Tenly. They are cousins born 6 weeks apart. They could be twins. Well their older siblings were eating donuts and decided they were going to save the rest of their donuts for later....well guess who decided they needed to eat them instead......what a pair of cuties!

We just call these two the eating machines. It was fun to see what we could get these two to eat! We had a great time in Kansas visiting Paul, Kim and their two girls! We realized that there is actually hills in Kansas and it is very green....and humid. I had great hair in Kansas!

Okay, Tenley really loves her cousin Nate. She would follow him everywhere and give him hugs and kisses. She even found out what sound his head could make when hit softly against a wall. Nate, needless to say, didn't know what to make of his cousin. We love Tenley...she is just too cute!

Fun in Colorado

We have had a fun filled summer so far. We started off going to the Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction. It was late in the evening but the boys had a blast yelling so they could hear their echo.

We also spent quite a bit of time in Glenwood Springs at the hot springs pool. The boys had a blast playing in the water. Jared will now put his head under water....only if he has his nose plug and goggles though.

And so it begins...

We are starting off soon in a new house so I thought it would be fun to start a new blog. I am a mom of three boys, Josh 8, Jared 5 and Nate 16 months. I have a great husband Mike and we have been married for over 15 years.

The picture to the right is of us on the trolley at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We had a blast seeing all of the fish.
