Trains and Wii...

Josh was thoroughly enthralled with his train set that Santa brought. He has to know how each part works. We got more track to add to it for next Christmas..very fun for us and Joshua!

Wii...the game we love and the game we love to hate! Many sore muscles from Christmas to New Year's. We love it and it keeps the boys busy when it's too cold to play outside. The only thing that we hate is the fighting on who gets to be #1 remote person and the fighting that comes with wanting to be the winner everytime.

Josh got tired and layed down to play. Very funny! Cheryl and I played on New Year's eve and we tried to sit and play tennis..very hard and very funny for us to watch!

Gingerbread Houses

I'm finally getting holiday stuff up on my blog! Thanks for getting me motivated Amy!
Here is Leah and Zoe trying to keep their house assembles while decorating. All the little kiddos decided to eat the frosting glue off their houses so we had a few houses falling down.

Friends from our ward came over with their children to decorate! It was a lot of fun! I think Jon really enjoyed eating and decorating!

We were happy to see that Josh wanted to participate!

The white all over Zoe is the glue frosting. I think she had the most fun with the frosting! It even stuck her hair onto her face!

This is Zach's chair....but Savannah had to give it a spin! Ain't she cute?

The finished products...except for the Thompson's. I think they had to leave before we got this picture taken! I miss doing this as an annual event. We will have to do it again next year!

Here Comes Santa Claus

The boys loved seeing Santa Claus. He even came to my sister's house for
a quick visit on Christmas Eve. How lucky are we!!Joshua wasn't quite sure what to think. This was his best picture!
Jared loved every minute of talking with Santa Claus!
Obviously, Nate had a whole bunch of stuff to tell Santa.
I sure hope Santa brought him what he wanted.
We couldn't ask for cuter boys! Thank goodness I got them hair cuts
before I was put in the hospital!

Ah, that Christmas feeling...and Josh's party too!

My Nate is such a cutie. Jared is my hat boy and when he saw these in the
Christmas boxes, he got them right out and started handing them out.Every year I take a self portrait with my boys and the hats! Here is one with Nate.
And all my boys!
I think Josh is our dramatic candle blower outer. Last year's picture of him blowing out his candles, we could see his tonsils. At least he only looks like a monkey in this one..haha! Mike did a great job on the cake since I was under the weather!
Josh loves maps and books about space. This is a huge map he has on his wall now! Last year at his other school, there was a map on the ground of the United States. At recess, kids would line up by Josh and he would tell them which state to go stand on.
He had a great time with that.
