Cub Scouts

We are very proud of Josh. He got some awards at cub scouts and this was the first time I got pinned. He "helped Daddy" do the space rocket ship thingy. Don't you love the rubber bands on my shoulder. I was the keeper of them because they kept turning the propeller too much!
I know this picture is dark, but if you click on it, you might be able to ask yourself...where are all the cub scouts? We've got Mike, a webelos den leader and the bishop...all watching. The boys had gone off to play.....got to love scouts!!

Almost Caught up....Halloween

This is one gross pumpkin. We had it out as decoration outside and we noticed that there was a hole on the bottom of the pumpkin. Mike definitely got to carve that pumpkin

Look at how much fun we are having!
Mike got to dress up too! You may have to click on his picture to see the detail on his pockets to see who he is. Since his company runs on a lot of Macs, this was a real kicker at work!
No homemade costumes this year! Josh wanted to be a pirate, Jared a Power Ranger and Nate got to be a hand me down from Josh, but it's always fun to be Tigger, right?

Planes, Great Aunts and Soccer

Two of my dad's sisters came to visit! In this picture is Great Aunt Bev from St. George UT. My boys loved meeting a new aunt. I think both of my
aunts were ready to go when they left our houseHere is my Great Aunt Carolyn from Ohio. It has been a long long time since I had seen her. We had to make sure we got pictures of the boys with her too! We kept calling her Aunt Jeanette who passed away a few years ago. Oops! We only did that because they are both from Ohio and we didnt' get to see them that often.
Nate thinks he is one cool dude! He can't get enough of being outside and getting on anything with wheels and running us ragged!
This picture just cracked me up! Jared and Josh are in time out and Nate can't stand Jared's crying and Josh's harrassing of Jared.
Here is some fun pics of the boys. The boys hanging out at Josh's soccer game!

Go Josh Go! Josh can run like nobody's business, but he would rather watch to see how fast his shadow is going or run along side the other team when they are taking the ball to their goal. He also likes to get string and let the wind carry it away. I finally got him to actually look like he was playing soccer when I said I wanted to take pictures of him!
The boys getting a close up look at the airplane panel thingy! If Mike was writing this blog you would get the proper verbage. Josh actually stuck his head out that window on his right. He looked like a dog enjoying the ride, even though the plane was going nowhere.
Josh getting his award for playing soccer.

Here is Jared playing one of his many positions in soccer. I think he was really good at defenseman. I didn't like him in the goalie position. Too much pressure for mom to be watching that. Jared liked to play forward. Mike is going to try to be his coach next season. They had a good team this year though!
Jared and his 2 awards. Jared LOVES to get trophies and medals. It is quite funny!

This my niece Zoe. She did really good on her first plane ride. There was a
beautiful sunset as we took off from Reno.
Here is Leah's 2nd daughter, Savannah! She is just a bundle of love. I got to go to AZ with no kids, so I got to just hold the babies (and get spit up on by Jenelle's new baby 8-), but it was fun all the same. I just had to get a picture of her in the blanket that I crocheted for her and that I had the majic touch to get her to sleep...yes she did fall asleep!
This is all of us in Arizona for Ailee's baby blessing. It was quite an adventure with all of us trying to get around places. No one was killed as part of this excursion!

Okay, so I have more pictures of boys, surprise, surprise!

Okay, here are some fun pictures of my boys sitting in one of our chair and a halfs. I am such a good mom, that I could get them to smile and laugh and take great pictures....
well, actually, I said the word "poop" a few times and they were so easily amused...boys..they never grow up do they?

Now this is actually how my boys really behave, wrestling, pushing and all that good stuff. Our house is barely surviving these 3 monkeys

Babies, Boys and more...

This is my niece Savannah! She is a cutie! She is my sister Leah's 2nd little girl. My crazy sister also had her natural. They gave her some good drugs after that made her out of it. Go Leah! This is our Time out spot. The corner in the dining room.
Now we know why Jared was being soo naughty. He was very, very tired!

Jared turns 6! Poor Jared. This is his second year in a row with a lame birthday! My sister Jenelle was moving to Arizona and we were helping her most of the time. I had made a Superman cake for him, but hadn't decorated it yet. It is still sitting in the freezer today. This cake was for Jenelle's birthday, but my dad already got her one, so yum for us. This is actually one of Jared's (and my) favorite cakes!Josh and his aid, Jamie. He is was very ready for day one of school. Since then Josh has a new aid and had done well with the transition. We loved our old aid, but she moved on to bigger and better things.
Jared ready for his 1st day of 1st grade! He loves going to school and learning! He even has a new backpack to go with the new year...no hand me down from Josh!

Grandkids Day!

If you know my mom, when she gets an idea, she goes all out! We dropped the kids off like at 10:00 am and then came back at 6:00 p.m to eat pizza with our kids.

The kids did painting, blowing bubbbles, puzzles, swimming (my parents bought a big bouncer thing and a water slide..can't wait to borrow it once we get grass in our backyard).

The kids did fishing, cake walk..poor Jared was the very last one. That was good for him though because he always likes to be first..I mean who doesn't. They had lunch from McDonald's and then rest time where you could read books, rest or watch a movie. My parents had like 3 or 4 tvs that could play different movies.

Mike and I went to lunch and went shopping at the Summit Mall in South Reno. That was nice to have a date with no kids. Thank goodness for grandparents!

Happy 4th

I know I am like 5 months behind on this, but since being sick, I feel like I am 5 months behind in everything. At least we are having lots of fun being behind!
This is Josh's typical pose for fireworks. He hates the noise of the bang, but we were very far away from where they were being shot off, but still he has to plug his ears!
Don't we look so happy! I told Mike that he needed to bring a jacket or something with him, but it had been such a nice warm day, he didn't believe me. Thank goodness we brought this blanket for the KIDS!
Our happy trio with their Wal-mart shirts on.
Big bummer though, Dale's kids had the same shirts they
bought that day and got them like 1/2 off.
