Labor Day Fun!

Here are my monkeys! Nate was making a huge mess on his face. I just couldn't resist.
We went up to Davis Lake one day over the Labor day weekend. The boys had a lot of fun throwing rocks in the lake. Nate actually went in face first and couldn't stand up. Jared tried to save him by pulling up his head. Thank goodness I was right there. Jared is one handsome dude!
Nate and his messy face! He loves the dirt. He is one gorgeous little man in my opinion. And that's with dirt on his face.
Here's all three water bugs! Last fun weekend of the summer! We just can't wait for snow now. Yeah, I say that now...we will see!

Jared's First Day of School!

This is Jared's First day of school. He actually missed the first day of school(and the 3rd and 4th day of school too...poor boy was sick)! He really loves

school and is definitely the cutest boy in the class. I swear Jared can pose with the best of them! He is such a ham!

Jared feels his the most special boy in class. He wants all the attention. Do I see the nickname..brown noser in his future....? Sure hope not.

Play Time!

Here we are playing at the park. There are sooo many parks within walking distance from our house. This one is the newest one. It's like 3 blocks away!

CHOO CHOO!!!! GO NATE GO! Well, maybe not! I don't think I'm ready for him to climb that yet!
He thinks he can do everything his brothers do...it's very cute!

Welcome to our sand lot! The boys don't care one bit about all the dirt. We are ready for some grass though. Just in time for snow so the boys don't bring in all the mud with them.

First Day of School

We are very excited for Josh to go to school this year. He is actually going to a regular classroom with a one on one aide! The day he rode the bus home, he started to freak out because the bus driver didn't turn on his street. He is used to being dropped off right in front of his house. Josh is getting the hang of it, but I still walk him to the bus stop and pick him up.

Baptism Day

What a handsome boy our Joshie is! We are very proud of him and all the
accomplishments he has made in his 8 years!

Josh was soo excited to get baptized. The minute he got in the water he said "Dad, I want to play in the water for 3 minutes, then you can baptize me." Well, it took more like 10 and Mike had to grab and dunk. Josh survived and loved getting all of the attention.

Here is Josh with both set of grandparents! We are glad that everyone got to come. Mike's parents are on the outside and mine are on the inside.

can't wait for it to be his turn to get baptized!

Here's July in a nut shell. We started off the 4th with me running a 5 K with 3 of my sisters and one brother in law. Didn't do too bad for the oldest out of the four sisters. I guess I wanted to stand out...I'm the one in the bright pink. It didn't really matter that I was in such a bright color, people kept crossing in front of me to get to the other activities that were going on that day at the marina....We spent the 4th night watching some fun fireworks...Josh always has to have his ears plugged, but at least he is watching them!

It was fun to see Nate checking out the bright lights.

Nate also discovered his ears and wanted everyone to know about it! His ears were really red after he had pulled them like 50 times! Everyone laughed when he did it, so he kept on doing it.

Jared celebrated his 5th birthday...an impromptu party. He really wanted to have his birthday on his birthday, even though we were moving into our new house the next next day, so we called up all the cousins and we had a fun party!

We were very excited to get into our house! We love it! The kitchen is huge with lots of space. The boys really went hog wild all over the house and up and down the stairs and had to use all the bathrooms! Thanks goodness that they are all boys!

I had to get Nate and me in the pictures! Yeah, Nate gets to sleep in his own room now! We love the month of July! We hope everyone else had as much fun as us!

Sawdust pit anyone?
